EXTENDED PRAYERS

Please take time and let them know you care and are thinking of them.Praying does help! Also, you will feel better. We have family members who each day are fighting with and struggling with medical conditions and other emotional issues. Their concerns are ongoing and have no immediate "light at the end of the tunnel" date. Also, maybe their light is dim at the end of the tunnel and is not getting brighter as soon as desired. We need to remember these people daily. A minute or two chat, a card, a phone call, an email or a visit will do wonders for each of them and for you!. If you are unable to chat, mail, phone, email, or visit please take a few moments each day and remember one or more. Then talk to God. He will smile. Click on Extended Prayer List to view the list - in .pdf format - of those who continue to "take one day at a time" with undaunted strength and never-ending hope.

The elders have put together the KCoC Communication Information Worksheet. This document is designed to provide family members with the various types and kinds of communication avenues that are established here at KCoC. Specifically, this document identifies how and what YOU need to do to communicate your information to the proper people so it will be placed in the proper communciation avenue(s) that you desire and that is/are best for the information itself. Click Here to view this Communication Information Worksheet which is a .pdf file.

*****IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS WORKSHEET*****

* The kcoc@carolina.rr.com e-mail address is the best way to get the information out there. The minister get's this as a message on his phone, so it is as good as calling him.

* The kcoc@carolina.rr.com e-mail address goes to all of the elders as well as all of those who work the different areas of communication on the sheet.

* When sending an e-mail, please let us know where you would like to have the information communicated

* If you have text messaging on their phone, a text message can be sent to that address as well.

***********************************

ELDERS NOTE:   "The elders have asked that food and drink is restricted to the fellowship area and conference room area. This will allow all of us to be good stewards of God’s blessings and protect the furnishings, equipment, and materials throughout the building. This will also allow us to worship God in spirit and devotion when we are assembled to do so in the auditorium. We understand that it may be necessary to exclude medical and health needs, and the physical needs of infants and toddlers. We ask that you use them with care.

Thank you
The elders"

***********************************

NOTE FROM MIKE MOBLEY:  In the foyer you will find a two-sided sheet with the heading "Kannapolis Church of Christ Communication Information". This identifies all the ways we currently have set up to mass communicate information to the congregation, who is oversees each one, what their functions are, and how to get your information to them. Regarding the e-mail address kcoc@carolina.rr.com, this address gets the message you want to communicate directly to Kirk's cell phone, the elders by email, and to all those who oversee the various methods of communication we currently have in place (as identified in the information sheet). So, when you send a message to this address, be sure indicate the specific place you want it to go, or to all sources. You may send your message by e-mail or text message to this address.

Thank you
Mike

KCOC FAMILY MEMBERS' RECOGNITIONS

**************** NEW & SPECIAL SECTION: HONORS ****************
Way to go! Keep on going! We are s-o-o-o-o-o-o-o proud! This section is dedicated to the KCoC members – other than our Youth, whose honors are presented on the “Youth” page – who have received some type of acknowledgment over the last 12 months. That acknowledgment could be an award, an honor, an achievement, a recognition of some type, a reached personal goal, or an attained decision. Usually that recognition is made known for a short time and then forgotten. Here in this section of the “Prayer Requests....Mailing Addresses” page that special attention will last about 12 months. We need to remember those special moments, those moments at which time we climbed or reached another rung on the ladder of life. We can look back, remember and reflect on that exciting, good, great or satisfied feeling point in time and give thanks to our Father in heaven for His blessings. We then can move on to go after another rung on the ladder of life and God’s word. We also can continue to encourage and edify one another as each of us climbs that daily “hill”.

[NOTE: If you have any of those moments that you wished to be placed here please let me know. It is not my intent to leave out any such acknowledgment. I want to keep this section uptodate and as current and accurate as possible. To do that I need YOUR help. Thank you....Webmaster]
